Legalize Marijuana

One of the issues that is important to a lot of voters is that of legalizing marijuana, which in 1972 was classified as a Schedule 1 controlled substance, citing that it has no medical value at all.  But many people doubt the sincerity of government in its perceived senseless onslaught against marijuana, and wonder how a substance like alcohol could in anyone’s wildest dreams be consider safer for the public than the weed. Voters in some states have already made their voices heard. In California, Colorado, and possibly soon in Massachusetts, patients can get a prescription for the drug, which is usually vaporized rather than smoked.  Marijuana has a lot of compelling reasons you might want to rethink your stance against it, including reasons for health and safety that you might never have thought of before.
